Gym achievements for the past week

Thanks mate! I'll need it... Been ill as fuck all day since posting that.

Typical! The last week of my twenties and I get sick....

This is why they invented codeine. Tomorrow is a new day....

Good luck with your bench rents

Benched 80,90,100,100 yesterday, never gone up in those increments in a gym, nice to hit 100 twice also
3 weeks out hopefully the peak is peaky

Agony today for bench....

Hit 152.5kgx3 and 135x6, then 100x16 drop. Targets hit but was a bit fucked off with that.

Dunno how I managed that even tbh, bicep tie ins and forearms were murderous. Switched to Low bar squatting and its taking its toll on my elbows.....

Any tips chaps?

To ease the elbows? Can stem from both wrists and shoulders IME/O. So some massage on the forearms to keep suppleness there and external rotation work with bands to improve RC mobility..... of the 2 I would prioritise RC out to the side (horizontally) and vertically/upwards (if that makes sense). Inwards rotations likely aren't needed as that is the dominant stress on the RC naturally thru training

Cheers dude, I'll give them a go! Think it's coming from wrist rather than shoulder though.

Think it's overtraining catching up with me as well, weights and mma together is taking its toll. Gonna have to do something to address it sooner rather than later.

You may be surprised. I thought mine was as I have horrendous wrist mobility (poor flexion and extension and incomplete supination) beyond the point where I can work on it but it wasn't until I started religeously doing RC rehab at the end of every session that I started to be able to grip anything like properly on a BS. Potential overuse stressing it likely won't help matters tho.

Either way, neither takes very long at all to do so yeah, allow yourself 5mins to give it all a go regularly and see how it goes
