I don't disagree that they are the two best pure boxers but it is different going up against a monster heavy like AJ when you are massively underpowered and undersized. AJ wouldn't come in as light as he was for Ruiz, I would reckon around 245 at weigh in as he would be looking to engage with Usyk as he knows he could walk through his power and blow him away.
Out of his last 5 fights (I cannot count Witherspoon) he has 2 TKOs and 3 PTS wins, all at cruiser. If he isn't KO'ing people at cruiser, he has no chance of KO'ing AJ. And, let's be honest, he would need to win clearly to get a decision against AJ on a Matchroom card (I cannot imagine a decision going against AJ on a MR card unless he was beaten decisively).
Usyk would and will box the ears off AJ. He is a superstar and a fucking dude as well
He put a beating on Joe Joyce in the amateurs at super HW
and Majidov who beat AJ but can't see him getting a decision over AJ with matchroom judges. It will be close I think
hopefully he can put another beating on Joyce. Can’t stand the guy
David Haye connectionhas the charisma of a bowl of bran flakes. Not a fan at all of Joyce either.
Weird him being trained by Adam Booth recently though, complete opposite of a Booth type fighter
Trying to do a little research on UFC. Jon Jones sounds like the guy I would like to follow. When is he fighting next and when is he stepping up to HW?
