Iphone 4 or 3Gs

Which is best, some might remember i dropped my 3gs down the swanny, anyway my house insurance are paying out and as Apple dont sell 3gs 16gb no more the insurance are sending me £510 for the iphone 4 16gb.

My problem is i have heard a lot of bad things about the iphone 4 so am contemplating buying a 3gs from ebay and obviously having a couple hundred left over.
So which is best?

I have had both and i would say the 3GS, as if you bought a new 4G you wouldn't be able to jailbreak it. Is the phone a added item on your house insurance? I was unaware you could claim for a mobile.

Aye on my house insurance cover i took extra out for accident on personal belongings in or out the house.

silly question willis but whats it like to hold, What i mean is the 3g/3gd feels comfortable in the hand but when i help the iphone 4 it felt weird, is it easy to get used to?

i dont mind it but then again i cant hold my phone to my ear for long as it gets uncomfortable so i'm the wrong person to ask

aye the teathered jailbreak has mate where you had to reboot if battery drained, but not the unteathered ones out where you dont need to.

The one that was released yesterday was for the latest firmware as there was no proper jailbreak for it.

I see, yes its 4.1 I believe not for 4.2, I might do my one in that case depending on the feature difference between 4.1 and 4.2
