Does anyone use Maximuscle?

O

OldMember

Just looking through a few of the Maximuscle products, and they are far more expensive than other brands on the market. With all of the cheap bulk suppliers popping up, and the huge amount of supplement brands, I wonder who would pay over the odds for essentially the same product?

Example, 1.2kg of Cyclone (all in one), you're looking at over £40+. That would last, 10 days?

Or 2lb of Promax, £38+

So, anyone use Maximuscle, and why?

the people that use this are the people with no clue on nutriton and dont use the internet
ie... taking cyclone gets u ripped lad!!

I suppose, I remember when I first started training I would see Maximuscle in Argos and the supermarkets lol. But even then, I looked on the internet to see what I could get cheaper

I suppose its like anything you pay more for the name - all the well know supplement brands are more expensive than the less well known ones. Doesnt always mean you are buying an inferior product and vice versa

Guy i worked with spends £150/month on Maximuscle stuff. pretty much a standing order to them. I tried to have a conversation about how he was paying over the odds, but he wouldnt have it as thats what his trainer told him to take and thats all he takes and he's ripped!

This is an intelligent guy too.

It's probably why Maximuscle introduced Maxiraw, to compete with the other cheap bulk suppliers. It certainly does compete, Maxiraw are excellent value products

I think so - I know everyone will give the pfft she would say that but I used their stuff before I was sponsored and genuinely like it, and them, as a company.

I have also been told by some people that MaxiMuscle had a poor rep with bodybuilders for being expensive and not necc worth the cost. As you say MaxiRaw is specific for bb-ers and priced v competatively :)

Maxiraw is same as all bulk suppliers the difference being Terry built a great customer service rep for them and that is why IMO they stand above the rest.

I just ordered £50 worth of stuff from Myprotein as maxi is sold out and just been on a phone to some fucking idiot about cancelling my order as it hasnt been dispatched but cos it in the warehouse they cannot.

Branded supps and Maxiraw again for me now.

I used to use them when I first started training. Gotta say the stuff I tried tasted horrible (I tried cyclone, their whey and their MRP).

Used it when I first started, promax tastes fucking rancid, promax diet even more so, and cyclone saw me firing the brown laser for about an hour after each shake

I had a tub of Promax Extreme once paid £4 direct from Maximuscle, they had a voucher code for Fitness First members get £40 off on Cyclone or Promax Extreme, never bought it again

Cheers Joshua, I have called the women on phone will try to intercept the parcel, even though it has not left them yet, so once my order says cancelled I may need to enquire more then if an issue :)

Did same as you mate, ordered as maxiraw sold out but I put in a pretty HUGE order and meant to come as free next day delivery but nothing turned up so far, but this has happened many times in the passed with myprotein so i'll prob expect it some point next month

Used cyclone a fair bit during my rugby days..really liked it.

Massively over priced though.

A very well marketed product with a heavy budget to get famous names to promote.

Maxiraw is a cracking company that I would buy had I not been sponsored by....

Was perhaps the very first person to order of them and havent used anything else in 2 years.
