Lee Priest Steroid Cycles

I would wager a lot of money he used very little gear.
Why? Because he was never that heavy on stage circa 200lb right and without shredded glutes
Was going to say this, he is a small guy and wasn't overly heavy. Plus pics of him at 16-17 years old he is carrying more muscle than almost every gear user I know in person, his genetics are unreal.

Superb other worldly genetics or not, he'll still have taken the same cycles and doses of the other pro's of the time, ie, shit loads! He was a competitive pro bodybuilder, trying to win as many shows as he could and therefore trying to make as much cash out of it as possible. Why would he limit what he was doing and taking, why take the chance? Bodybuilders at the highest level always go on about pushing the limits and boundaries and always talk about "next time i'll bring the freakiest package to the stage" Priest was no different imo. So many of these guys over the years who are nothing more than hypocrites and generally just full of shit, take what they say with a pinch of salt.

Too much gear can be counter productive. He's said this himself when hany fishbod tried to put him on higher doses he just felt shit.

Banging heads against brick walls here, no one's going to believe anyone who says they take less than them but look better than them. Is there really much point in this conversation?

A cow has more muscle than any bodybuilder in the world and eats grass. Think about that for a second.

Not all things/people are built the same.

Cows have very different DNA mate.
Same as dinosaurs, elephants, etc, though....

And Lee Priest has different DNA to anyone else on this board.

But yet he's a liar because he's told people what he did but no one believes him.......

I'd also bet that if you took a newbie, kept him away from most of the gym routines and eating patterns, put him in a hardcore gym with boys who knew what they're really doing regarding training and eating, and monitored his progress, it would be far in excess of the "train til it hurts a bit then lift the same again next week" crew, who not only fail to increment their weights but also fail to increment their nutrition.

I don't disbelieve him mate.
I think he has exceptional genetics.
The early pics of him say a lot.
I also know people here who know him very well, and they believe him, too - they spend enough time in the UK with him when he visits to see what's going on - bottom line, his response to training is awesome.

I see your point mate and agree to a point but in all pro cases, not just Priest, they would have all known roughly what each of their rivals were doing and taking at the time, i just don't see why a guy would take the risk. Lee Priest has probably the finest bodybuilding genetics ever but even he would tell you he wasn't perfect and had flaws, his biggest flaw was his height and he was forever being overlooked by the judges because of it, therefore imo he would have left nothing to chance knowing full well the advantages the taller guys had over him. A little bit of this and that wouldn't have cut it at that level, he had to bring his very best every time to have a chance of a decent place, all just my opinion though mate.

Sorry mate I wasn't talking directly to you when I said that, I was generalising in terms of what people say and think.

Look at someone like Rich Piana and his recent "get big quick series"... apparently that's "extreme"... ffs it's really not lol but people blow it out of proportion.

No worries mate.
I think it is human nature to disbelieve someone can surpass you with half the effort.
But some people have exceptional brain genetics without "trying", for example, and no one really questions that.
Some of my mates locally are proper scarily fucking massive guys - mostly West Indian to be fair to them - but they are huge - 17-18 stone without ever going to a gym, then 20 stone of off-season shape, maybe more, with a bit of gym effort as an aside to their boxing training.

We're not all equal - I sometimes see guys in shorts wandering around Tesco with zero definition, zero delts or arms - you can tell they've never been in a gym in their lives - but their quads, hams and calves, etc are plain fucking stupid massive from a bit of rugby followed by 10 pints after a game.
That's genetics.
Lee, IMO, got those genetics in nearly every body part.
Luck of the draw.

To be fair having done 9 shows now, one thing that's very rarely discussed amongst competitors is drugs. Surprising but true. So I don't think they did talk much backstage. He lived with Paul Dillet so he'd have known what he did (and Priest has said he was lazy with remembering to taking gear) but on the circuit I doubt they did talk much.

As for his height - nothing he can do about that. And piling muscle on would make him look like a mini fridge... what's the point?

He beat people like Dexter Jackson. He didn't need more muscle.

Couldn't agree more mate.

Look at this guy called Micquel Wright. 17-18 stone. Barely any gear at all (sub 1g), despite his legs being a weakness (he's about 6ft 2", so give him time) and not been training long, eats like shit and looks fucking awesome!

He's having to pull his act together because he's doing the saxon classic in a couple of months, but I was at the gym the other day where calipers had him at 7-8% body fat.

Freak. But of course some skinny fat guy will swear he's on everything going... sad really.

He looks like a cross between Ricardo Correia and Rob Reinaldo (that's a big compliment IMO).
But I agree - take a muscular man with genetics, train him properly, feed him properly, do whatever else is needed to utilise the training/eating.
Why would anyone have a hard time believing exceptional genetics would return exceptional results?
Fact is, they do. IMO and all that before someone says shut up righty, you skinny fat cunt. :)

A cow has more muscle than any bodybuilder in the world and eats grass. Think about that for a second.

A cow eats about 150lbs of grass a DAY - consuming around 15,000,000 cals (15Mcal or 15,000 kcal) daily. Often given protein supplementation of up to 1000g protein/day additionally. Some even take tren :)

Cows are awesome, so is Lee Priest, but neither are magic

Completely agree re: banging heads. The Lee Priest debate comes up regularly and nobody but him really knows. Logic suggests that if he was really on 2ml/deca placing, why not go up to 4ml or 5ml, still reasonable amounts, and win everything. Who knows...

Because he tried it, and felt shit mate... his words. I doubt it was a moral thing of "oh I can't do too much gear because it's cheating" with him, it's more a case of "this is all I did so it's proof bostin lloyd is a twat and an abuser".
