......all this talk about aspirating!! Jesus if you hit one...you won't need to aspirate, as the blood will enter the syringe on its own pressure, without you "sucking" it up!?!?

Doesn't really matter. I used blues or greens for larger muscle groups and slins for delts and bis.

Also never understood why people say don't aspirate, takes about 5 seconds at most.

I don't know why you wouldn't aspirate. Takes 2 seconds.

That said. I've done probably 100 jabs between 2 cycles and only once have i aspirated and got blood in the syringe so there may be some logic behind not doing it. However i will continue to aspirate for my own piece of mind.

The odds of shooting all your gear in a barrell into a vein is pretty fukin slim, if like me u press the plunger to lubricate the pin slightly then as u break the skin odds are u will travel through a vein and some on the pin will enter the blood.

lol well the worst jab Ive ever had was about 2 months ago, I shot some sus and instantly i got a pounding headache and bad cough, followed by what felt like my lungs filling with water.....maybe aspiration is a good idea pmsl, took me 3 days to feel ok, felt like death.

Each to theri own but I wouldn't jab without aspirating; some of the reasons i've seen above for not bothering are ludicrous... You won't necessarily go through a vein anyway, not a larger vein. And that's the issue. You also aren't guaranteed to see blood in the syringe if you accidentally hit a larger vein....aspirate. Why would the blood flow automatically from a vein into a syringe, especially when there is liquid leaving the syringe?

Seriously folks.....first timers come here to read these things.....and there is some highly dubious advice in here. The fact that you've been "fine" all this time is completely irrelevant. My mate was absolutely "fine" driving round without a seat belt on...until he wasn't.


So - for those newbies popping in...... the process of injecting is relatively simple but it is VERY EASY to get it VERY WRONG.

With regard to problems injecting glutes because of flexibility issues; (a)...start stretching. That reduced mobility will only get worse and will eventually lead to postural problems and a fair chance of chronic pain. (b) It's better to go in ventro-gluteal anyway... that means; instead of going in the upper outer quadrant at 90 degrees directly from behind, go in from the side (same place - upper outer quadrant). MUCH easier to do

Well, quick update.

Just managed to pin myself for the first time, what a fucking nause up I made of that!

Got myself some slin pins with barrels and some greens, only realising that the slin pins aren't removable from the barrels, not a problem I thought! Watched the video @kuju posted up which was great, followed the procedure and couldn't get any oil out of the vial as the plunger kept getting sucked back in. After thinking the pins were faulty I decided to draw up some water from a glass which it did slowly, which made me realise that the oils is obviously quite thick. Not a problem I though again, so heated the vial up with ho water and gave it another go...

Anyway, long story short it took me about 5 minutes to fill the fuckin barrel up! After filling it up I've done the alcohol wipe thing and jabbed my delt, quickly realising I haven't got all the air out! Some quickly withdrew and expelled the air and gave it another go.

Trying to get this shit in my delt was a mission, took about another 2 minutes to empty the barrel, I thought I was gonna snap the bastard plunger it was so hard!

Think I'm gonna go to the chemist and see if I can get some normal barrels tomorrow, any idea if they will just give them to me?

Never jabbed before mate. I did buy the greens with a view to drawing with them not realising the slin pins weren't removable from the barrel. Doh!!!

Only drew just under a ml, took a fucking age.

Oh well, you live and learn...

I've done it, but yeah, you're right, takes forever. Although, it's much easier for a first timer to bury a slin pin than it is for them to stomach burying a green. Once you get used to it though, it's all the same.
