I like rap and hip hop buddy; ya just jumped in my estimation :D

Not so hot on death metal, depends how deathy

yeh i agree with the lack of good music these days especially good hip hop but Im feelin this Joel Ortizz, i love good lyrics not to down with all these new voice effects and what not, you gotta dig pretty deep to find good music. I dont know whats more fun to me, Listneing to music or working out? but combining the 2! now thats my Sh*t.

and that mobb deep is classic. Old Outkast is great to.

I'm not SERIOUSLY into my music in any genre... I'll prob get laughed at because a lot of my current fave tracks are too "mainstream" to be cool...

For instance, really love Lil' Wayne "Drop the World" - but then has a lot of personal meaning to me on a lot of levels.

I don't get involved with the whole "hip hop is dead" and "too commercialised" arguments.... I hear a piece of music I like, then I like it, that simple :)

I probably should listen to more thought, broaden my horizons - I just never seem to have the time.

Joe Budden has killer lyrics if you listen

I'm not a Lil Wayne fan to be honest, but on that song he really does kill it. It's amazing to crank up before you get in the gym, i find it has a lot of aggression in it too.

Respect what your saying about the whole commercialised argument though, but to me you can clearly tell the difference, especially now with so many people using autotune.

I just love the older tunes with the deep bass beat and others with some more meaningful lyrics, but as said you have to really have time to dig it out to find it.

But at the end of the day music is a personal thing, most my mates hate the music i show them, and prefer the more mainstream and modern rap and hip hop, and that's fair enough.

Not a massive lover of this style of music but these albums really have a great atmosphere!

The UK has got some very talented underground hip-hop artists who many will never hear of, all independent artists such as Akala, Lowkey, Klashnekoff.

Refreshing to hear positive, intelligent hip-hop rather than all the gun talk hype, money and slags. Melle Mel said it best.
