Blast cruise frequency - what is the optimum time on:off?

On paper homeostatic adaptations are fairly clear as you state @Joshua - sensitivity etc. (points may vary)

However I'm not sure if in reality that other factors such as food, training adaptation do not in fact 'shift' this homeostasis regardless of dose.

I appreciate that people adapt to the stimulus applied, however when exogenous androgens are added into the mix, the body will oppose those changes - the HPTA being the classic case.

At a basic level, my question of optimum time on:off was aiming at what the optimum time to minimise HTPA disruption whilst getting some gains.

Below the surface of this however is that there are a number of other systems that tend often kick in with homeostasis, when one feedback loop fails. Although these other feedbacks may not be direct regulators, they can often cause quite large changes. We know that there is some evidence for some changes in myostatin expression for example (although IMO this is just one marker of many). Whether or not having shorter time on, ie prior to other pathways adapting, will affect overall gains and reduce post cycle recovery time is another thing.

With this stuff, I recall the words of an old physician "Homoeostasis will win in the end - we are just buying time". Maybe it is a bit of a futile exercise eg( zero sum game ), or even worse, by trying to prevent the feedbacks from occurring, we maybe in effect introducing an irreversible disorder.

4-5wk is my preferred frequency on, with a bit shorter time off. I am curious about the homeostatic adaptations that kick in eg( myostatin sensitivity at 6 and 20wk, though I am sure there are plenty of others at different time points ).

If we can get enough people to chime in, we maybe able to get some idea of what these time points are, even if we don't know the mechanisms themselves at play.

What is the ideal blast/totally off cycle aswell for optimal gains.
