I don't like any type of bounce and prefer to reset.
I know I have posted this a million and one times but this is the exact form I use so easier than explaining.

Thats some serious deadlifting :)

N its awesome but only doable by those with gorilla arms ;)

No doubt.
It's all about genetics after all.
Often those with short arms will often have poor backs.
Increase the ROM (all rows and pulldowns involve a large movement for me) and the muscle gets worked better IMO.
Plus there is a way of decreasing ROM on deadlifts by rolling shoulders forward and down this is some thing I have always done.

Do you mean back and down?

Impressive pulling! I always pull with a pause at the bottom too. Will be deadlifting tonight after my rows and pullups. Nice bit of inspiration there :thumb:

Yeah deadlifts are key for a big back.
The higher rep work in the 220-260kg built the muscle more so than the low rep 280-350kg stuff.
The key is to SQUEEZE the weight off the floor using all the back muscles not just rip it up.

Trained by my self today.
Not counting warm ups...
Hammer pull downs x1 double drop set
Cable rows x1 double drop set
Behind head pull downs x1 double drop set
Very slight incline db press x3 working sets
1 arm machine flies x3 sets
Side machine laterals x5 set
Tricep pushdown x3 sets each with a different hand position
Preacher curls x2 sets

I like double drop sets @Con but on back say I just go to failure. Do you have a set number of reps for the drop, on literally pull to failure.

I usually give my self a number because if I go to total failure I would need to make a huge drop in weight to be able to continue.

Hammer strength seat leg press (just got this in 2 days ago) set so that I had to lift my self down into position knees touching the chest.
1/2/3/4 plate per side 20 reps then 5 plates per side 3 sets to failure (didn't count was training alone and just get grinding and screaming  until I hit failure)
Hack squat 1 warm up then 1 set to failure using 3 plates per side feet together and low on platform I think I hit 23/24 reps here
Leg extensions toes curled towards shins at all times 100lb for 3 sets each to failure
Leg curls SS SLDL 3 sets last being a drop set
Standing calf raises x2 working sets
HS leg press calf raises x4 working sets

30 minutes cardio in AM.
I did 60 mins on Mon/Tue but that took it's toll badly so backed down to 30 minutes.

Weight was 190.6lb this AM so on the way down nice and rapidly calories still over 2600.

Well 3 hours after legs my buddy that does my diet came in.
He coerced me into doing back and delts with him so did those again lol.

This prep will hopefully have me looking very different to the past.
My diet guy is ultra old school....potatoes give a different look to rice and fish certainly thins the skin....certain exercises burn details in and so on.
Needless to say not my normal school of thought BUT his clients all look really good pros included.
At this stage I just want to come in super dooper awesome so I will do whatever it takes.

what's with toes curled up dude?

also, not trying to hijack thread but just off the back of deadlift chat a few days ago, did 10 sets of 10 deadlifts with 3 plates per side yesterday, fully deadstopping the bar on the floor between each rep. fuck me it was tough and DOMS are horrendous. I remember you saying you did something like that timed a while back?

Pulling the foot towards the shin at all times.

Yes I love deadlift challenges.
Recently I have done...
405lb for 10x10
315lb for 300 reps spread out over a lot of sets
225lb 100 reps in under 5 minutes
